Lauryn Santos has had a passion for finance since she was young. Well, younger. At 14, she began buying and trading stocks, and now at the ripe old age of 17 she has a portfolio she nurtures the way an avid gardener might care for an exotic orchid. “I think it’s thrilling to see your investment grow over the years,” she said in a recent interview. “It’s so fulfilling.” Lauryn is the first recipient of Reborn Cabinet’s $1,000 annual scholarship. Her essay about the three qualities she would implement to build a successful organization resonated with our judges, who found her emphasis on leadership, organization, and the opportunity for personal growth to be both compelling and insightful. Reborn Cabinets is Celebrating 35 Years in Business!

Wow! How time flies. It’s hard to believe 35 years have gone by since Reborn Cabinets first opened its doors. It was a different world back in 1983. No smart phones. No Facebook. No internet. And the only thing twittering were the birds. But the time was right for Vinny and Brenda Nardo to make the leap into business ownership.
