Manufacturing Day is an annual event held across the country on the first Friday of October. A partnership between manufacturers, home improvement contractors, and other companies with educators and community leaders, Manufacturing Day helps to paint a clear picture of modern manufacturing processes and careers.
As a leader in the home improvement industry with multiple, large-scale manufacturing facilities, Reborn Cabinets is proud to have played an important role in Manufacturing Day, serving as host since 2016. We open our facility to students and job seekers, providing in-depth tours from skilled manufacturing specialists. Our goal is to not only inform the next generation of skilled workers about the realities of manufacturing and the impact it has on the economy, but to also get students excited about the prospect of using their own two hands to develop an exciting and rewarding career in this growing industry.
Manufacturing Day 2020 – Rising To Meet New Challenges
2020 threw many industries a massive curveball with COVID-19. It also underscored the crucial role that American manufacturing plays in both regional and national economic health. Leading home improvement contractors and manufacturing companies are used to working in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry that requires constantly adapting. We’re doing so again by rethinking Manufacturing Day 2020.
Since we started hosting Manufacturing Day in 2016, Reborn Cabinets has seen exponential growth in participation among local schools and students. That’s why we’re turning Manufacturing Day into Manufacturing Month! To keep all participants safe this year, we’re substituting in-person facility tours with virtual tours and educational resources. Please check Team Reborn’s YouTube channel throughout October for updates. We’re also inviting job seekers to review the positions that Reborn Cabinets currently has available.
At Reborn Cabinets, we believe Manufacturing Day is an important event, helping to broaden young people’s perspectives and provide new possibilities for the future of their careers. We hope you participate with us as we continue to celebrate throughout October 2020.
